Maybe once a week (three at most if they’re in a really great go-get-em mood) the abortion protesters are staked outside of the local Planned Parenthood, which I pass on my way to work. Usually they just hand out “magazines” (their words) and say passages from the Bible - I’ve never really seen them do much in the way of protesting. For the most part they just ruin breakfasts with their large pictures of dead fetuses.

Now hopefully all of you know that Planned Parenthood offers a wide range of useful services to men and women. Testing being one of the best that I think they offer to the community. I always wondered what the protesters yell at the employees when they enter the building through the front door.

For the first time today I actually witnessed someone, a young lady, going in and the protesters reacting. Two of them were carrying on a conversation about something that happened in Florida. One of them was probably too numb from holding a 5 ft tall sign of a dead baby that they conditioned themselves not to notice anything. And one, who I believe is the leader, said loudly (which in the din of traffic and conversation sounded like a whisper) “God wants you to keep your baby.” And that’s all.

That’s all. That’s probably their excitement for the week. He yelled something quietly - the young lady (who may or may not be carrying fertilized eggs) didn’t notice. Maybe Jesus did. Either way, I am now convinced that they really are just there to ruin your breakfast.
